HUVI.NOMAD

HUVI.NOMAD is the fully mobile version of HUVI.GUARDIAN and was developed for temporary, autonomous wildfire early detection in demanding terrain. The portable unit combines AI based image analysis, its own energy supply and robust communication in a compact system that can be deployed wherever monitoring is needed at short notice.

Mobile detection in the field

HUVI.NOMAD monitors a 90 degree sector with a range of up to 10 kilometres. Image data is analysed directly on site, allowing smoke development to be detected early and relevant events to be assessed without external computing infrastructure. This makes the system particularly suitable for situations where no fixed infrastructure is available or where monitoring is only required temporarily.

Transport and operational readiness

HUVI.NOMAD can be carried by hand and, depending on the situation, transported by car, on foot or by helicopter winch. Its compact design enables rapid relocation in the field and flexible positioning at observation points, on ridgelines, along access routes or near particularly vulnerable zones.

Autonomous operation

The unit is designed to operate fully autonomously and is built for off grid deployment. Power supply, computing unit, sensors and communication are integrated in such a way that HUVI.NOMAD can operate independently of existing power or network infrastructure. This allows the system to be used even in remote, difficult to access or temporarily endangered areas.

Use cases

HUVI.NOMAD is suitable for fire watch after wildfires, temporary monitoring of endangered areas and the protection of regions with increased wildfire risk. Further use cases include supporting controlled fire tests, monitoring after lightning strikes, temporary protection of critical infrastructure as well as deployment during exercises, major events or periods of seasonally increased risk.

Flexible addition to HUVI.GUARDIAN

While HUVI.GUARDIAN is designed for permanent operation at fixed locations, HUVI.NOMAD provides maximum mobility for short term and tactical deployments. Both systems follow the same goal: detect fires earlier, respond faster and provide emergency teams with valuable time.
