Field Test Q3
At the beginning of the third quarter of 2025, we deployed our first HUVI.GUARDIAN prototype for wildfire early detection in a real field environment. The unit is equipped with a camera, edge computing, solar panel and battery storage and was designed to test energy autonomy, data flow and detection quality of our autonomous early warning system under real world conditions.

Initial Results
The prototype confirms the technical feasibility of our autonomous wildfire early warning system. Energy autonomy, reliable data transmission and the AI based detection pipeline were successfully validated under real field conditions.
Funding and Research
The field test is part of our development phase for autonomous wildfire detection systems, supported by Innosuisse and implemented in collaboration with the Switzerland Innovation Park Biel Bienne (SIPBB).
Since December 2025, we have also been working with the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) on research topics related to energy autonomy, image analysis and edge AI for wildfire early detection.
Next Steps
The next step is scaling: a fully autonomous detection tower for wildfire early warning with a 360 degree camera, integrated edge AI analysis and satellite connectivity. Further test installations and pilot projects for wildfire detection are planned for 2026.
